A special dwarf form of Buddha’s Belly Bamboo known for its swollen segmented stems that create a unique, sculptural look. Highly decorative and widely used in designer landscapes, oriental gardens, and luxury planters. The plant looks like a miniature bamboo but has very bold character and always attracts attention.
Care guide
- Sun to semi shade
- Normal (tolerates less & more) Needs plenty of water during active summer growth
- Remove lower leaves to highlight the swollen culms. Grow in raised beds or large pots for best display. Requires organic-rich soil. Provide abundant water in hot months. Occasionally shoots may revert to a tall form—cut these from the base.
